Israeli Diamond Presence at Macau
The Macau Jewelry & Watch Fair at Cotai Strip Convention and Exhibition Center at Venetian Macao will be graced with the presence of over 50 Israeli companies exhibiting at the show on January the 13th, 2008.
The Israeli Diamond Institute (IDI) will host 37 of the companies exhibiting with the IDI being the official host of the Fair’s opening reception along with the shows organizers, the CMP.
The exhibition is expected to attract a large number of Chinese buyers as a result of the Israeli Diamond Industry’s extensive promotion to the Chinese market over the past few months.
IDI Managing Director Eli Avidar said: “The Israel Diamond Industry has embarked on a strategic partnership with the Chinese diamond industry. This underscores our belief in the huge potential that the Chinese market has to offer. We believe that the massive Israeli participation in the Macau Fair will lead to fruitful business ties, and we look forward to it as an exciting opportunity to further develop our strategic cooperation with China.”
IDI has opened a representative office in Hong Kong IDI Asia Pacific Limited and launched a comprehensive portal site in Chinese. IDI also announced that it would expand its participation in trade fairs in China, with the Macau show figuring prominently in IDI’s trade show calendar.
