A Diamond Bra for Sale!
A Chinese jewelry company has created a diamond bra for sale.
The bra is made from 2500 separate diamonds and priced at 10 million Yuen or over 650,000 dollars.
It was demonstrated by a model in the Yibia Department Store in Jinhua City, in the Zhejian province.
The manufacturer, Royal D?©cor Jewellery, said that the bra is made from natural diamonds with a combined weight of over 100 carats. The diamonds are set in 300 grams of white gold.
â??The piece took more than 200 hours to create.â? said a spokesman. Among the diamonds, 5 are 3 carats, while the rest are mostly 1 or 2 carat.
â??The clasp of the bra is a 5.4 carat sapphire surrounded by 60 small diamondsâ?, added the spokesman. The basement of the store was filled with viewers.
This is reminiscent of the Victoria’s Secret Hearts On Fire Diamond Fantasy Bra, created by Hearts On Fire in 2006 and which featured 2,000 individually cut diamonds weighing 800 carats. In the center of the bra was a 10 carat ‘Hearts On Fire’ diamond brooch with a Victorian floral motif.
This was modeled at the time by Victoria’s Secret Angel Karolina Kurkova (See picture). That bra was valued at $6.5 million.
We can probably expect to see more Diamond Bras for sale in the future!
