Rapaport have announced their first Rapaport Certified Diamond Auction to be held on the 17th to 20th of September 2007. - Sep. 17-20.
The Rapaport Diamond Report was started by Martin Rapaport, the American entrepreneur and founder of the Rapaport Diamond Report. Rapaport is somewhat of a maverick within the diamond industry, and is often recognized for his signature bow tie. He is a member of the World Diamond Council the board of Jewelers for Children and an early proponent of the Kimberley Process.
He also hosts the Rapaport International Diamond Conference, annually in New York, that often serves as an industry forum between NGOâ??s, the jewelry industry, governmental agencies, and diamond industry interests.
